Description

These Grilled Turkey Burgers are juicy, flavorful, and healthier than traditional beef burgers. Made with lean ground turkey and simple seasonings, they grill up perfectly every time. Serve them with your favorite toppings on a toasted bun!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey (93% lean recommended)

  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard

  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for grilling)

  • 4 burger buns

  • Lettuce, tomato, onion, and your favorite condiments (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

  2. In a large bowl, mix ground turkey, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.

  3. Gently form into 4 equal patties. Press a slight dent in the center of each to prevent puffing during grilling.

  4. Brush grill grates with olive oil to prevent sticking.

  5. Grill the patties for 5–6 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

  6. Toast burger buns on the grill during the last minute of cooking if desired.

  7. Assemble burgers with your favorite toppings and condiments. Serve hot.

Notes

  • Don’t overmix the meat or the burgers can turn out dry.

  • Try adding chopped fresh parsley or a dash of hot sauce for extra flavor.

  • You can also grill these on a stovetop grill pan if it’s raining outside.
