Description
These Easter Egg Oreo Balls are an easy, festive treat made with crushed Oreos, cream cheese, and colorful candy coatings. They’re rich, creamy, and shaped like little Easter eggs—perfect for kids, parties, or edible gifts. No baking required!
Ingredients
-
36 Oreo cookies (1 standard 14.3 oz package)
-
8 oz cream cheese, softened
-
12 oz white chocolate or candy melts (assorted pastel colors)
-
Sprinkles or decorative sugar (optional)
Instructions
-
Add Oreos to a food processor and pulse until they turn into fine crumbs.
-
Add cream cheese and blend until fully combined into a smooth, sticky dough.
-
Scoop about 1 tablespoon of the mixture and shape it into small egg shapes using your hands.
-
Place the shaped Oreo eggs onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Chill in the freezer for 20–30 minutes, or until firm.
-
Melt the candy melts or white chocolate in separate bowls according to package instructions.
-
Dip each chilled Oreo egg into the melted coating, using a fork to lift and tap off the excess.
-
Place coated eggs back on the parchment paper and decorate with sprinkles or drizzle with different colored chocolate.
-
Let set at room temperature or refrigerate until the coating is firm.
-
Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
Notes
Use gel food coloring to tint white chocolate if you don’t have colored candy melts.
These can be made ahead and stored in the fridge for up to a week.
