Instructions
- Combine ingredients: In a nonstick saucepan over medium-low heat, combine sweetened condensed milk, chopped white chocolate, and butter. Stir continuously to prevent burning.
- Cook mixture: Continue stirring until the mixture thickens and starts pulling away from the sides and bottom of the pan, about 10–12 minutes.
- Add vanilla and cool: Remove from heat, stir in vanilla extract, and let the mixture cool slightly.
- Chill: Transfer the mixture to a greased plate or bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and chill for at least 1 hour until firm enough to handle.
- Form balls: Butter your hands lightly and roll the chilled mixture into 1-inch balls.
- Coat: Roll each ball in white sprinkles, shredded coconut, or powdered sugar for coating.
- Serve: Place the coated brigadeiros in mini paper cups for an elegant presentation.
