Description
Warm Cinnamon Crescent Twists are buttery crescent rolls filled with cinnamon sugar, twisted into shape, and baked until golden. Finished with a light glaze or dusting of powdered sugar, they’re easy to make and irresistibly delicious — like a cinnamon roll in grab-and-go form!
Ingredients
-
1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
-
2 tbsp melted butter
-
1/4 cup granulated sugar
-
1 tbsp ground cinnamon
Optional glaze:
-
1/2 cup powdered sugar
-
1-2 tbsp milk
-
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
-
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
-
Prepare filling: In a small bowl, mix cinnamon and sugar.
-
Roll out the dough: Unroll crescent dough and press seams together to form a rectangle. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle the cinnamon sugar evenly over the surface.
-
Fold and cut: Fold the dough in half (like a book). Use a sharp knife or pizza cutter to slice into 8 strips.
-
Twist the strips: Take each strip and twist it several times, then place on the baking sheet, pressing the ends down slightly so they don’t unravel.
-
Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until golden brown.
-
Make the glaze (optional): While the twists bake, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
-
Drizzle glaze over warm twists or dust with powdered sugar. Serve warm!
Notes
-
Add a handful of mini chocolate chips or chopped nuts before folding for a fun twist.
-
These are best enjoyed warm but can be reheated in the oven or air fryer.
