Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine tomatoes, cucumber, and red onion.
- In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, red wine vinegar (or lemon juice), oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the dressing over the vegetables and toss gently to coat.
- Garnish with fresh herbs, if using.
- Let sit for 10–15 minutes before serving for best flavor.
Notes
- Use English or Persian cucumbers for less bitterness and fewer seeds.
- Add feta cheese or olives for a Mediterranean twist.
- This salad is best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored in the fridge for up to 1 day.
