- 2 large cucumbers, thinly sliced
- 1/2 small red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tbsp white vinegar
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh dill (optional)

- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine sour cream, vinegar, sugar, salt, pepper, and dill (if using). Stir until smooth.
- Add the sliced cucumbers and onions to the bowl and toss until well coated in the dressing.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
- Stir before serving and garnish with extra dill if desired.
Notes
- English cucumbers work well as they have fewer seeds and thinner skin.
- For a lighter version, use Greek yogurt instead of sour cream.
- Best served cold and eaten within 1–2 days for optimal freshness.
