These Slow Cooker Mississippi Sloppy Joes are a tangy, savory twist on the classic sandwich. Made with ground beef, pepperoncini peppers, and a blend of ranch and au jus seasonings, this slow-cooked version delivers bold flavor with every bite. Ingredients
2 lbs ground beef
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
1 packet (1 oz) au jus gravy mix
1/2 cup sliced pepperoncini peppers
1/4 cup pepperoncini juice (from the jar)
2 tbsp unsalted butter
6–8 hamburger buns, toasted
Optional toppings: sliced cheese, coleslaw, pickles
Instructions

Brown the beef: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and chopped onion until the beef is browned and the onion is soft. Drain excess grease.

Transfer to slow cooker: Add the cooked beef and onion mixture to the slow cooker.

Add seasonings: Stir in the ranch mix, au jus mix, pepperoncini peppers, pepperoncini juice, and butter.

Cook: Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours or high for 2–3 hours, stirring occasionally.
