Description

This Slow Cooker BBQ Pulled Pork Tenderloin is tender, juicy, and packed with smoky barbecue flavor. It’s a simple set-it-and-forget-it meal that’s perfect for sandwiches, sliders, tacos, or over rice. Using pork tenderloin keeps it lean while still full of flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups BBQ sauce (your favorite kind)

  • 1/2 cup chicken broth

  • 1 tbsp brown sugar

  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp onion powder

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

  • Optional: extra BBQ sauce for serving

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, mix the BBQ sauce, chicken broth, brown sugar, vinegar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

  • Place the pork tenderloin in the slow cooker.

  • Pour the BBQ mixture over the pork.

  • Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours, until the pork is tender and easily pulls apart.

  • Remove the pork and shred it using two forks.

  • Return the shredded pork to the slow cooker and mix with the sauce.

  • Let it cook uncovered on low for an additional 15–20 minutes to soak up the flavor.

  • Serve on buns, over rice, in wraps, or however you like.

Notes

  • Pork loin can also be used, but tenderloin cooks faster and stays lean.

  • Add a splash of hot sauce or red pepper flakes if you like it spicy.

  • Great for meal prep—leftovers store well in the fridge for up to 4 days or freezer for up to 3 months.
