For the Lemonade
- 1 1/2 cups lemon juice (about 6 lemons)
- 1 cup simple syrup
- 6 cups water
- 2 cups ice (plus more for serving)
Instructions
- Combine Ingredients: In a large pitcher, add the ice cubes, freshly squeezed lemon juice, simple syrup, and water. Stir thoroughly to combine all the ingredients and chill the mixture evenly.
- Serve: Pour the lemonade into glasses, adding about 1/3 cup of ice per cup of lemonade. Serve immediately for the best refreshing experience.
Notes
- To make simple syrup, dissolve equal parts sugar and water by heating gently until the sugar is fully melted, then cool before using.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less simple syrup based on your taste preference.
- Use freshly squeezed lemons for the most vibrant and fresh flavor.
- For a sparkling version, replace some or all of the water with sparkling water.
