Description

This garlic butter chicken is tender, juicy, and coated in a rich, buttery garlic sauce. Made in under 30 minutes with simple ingredients, it’s a perfect weeknight dinner that pairs beautifully with rice, pasta, or veggies.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs), cut into bite-sized pieces

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)

  • Juice of 1/2 lemon (optional, for brightness)

Instructions

  1. Season chicken pieces with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.

  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

  3. Add chicken and cook for 5–6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.

  4. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and melt the butter.

  5. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant (don’t let it burn).

  6. Return the chicken to the pan and toss to coat in the garlic butter.

  7. Add lemon juice if using, and cook for 1–2 more minutes.

  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • Serve over rice, pasta, or mashed potatoes.

  • Great with steamed broccoli, green beans, or a fresh salad.

  • Swap chicken for shrimp for a quick seafood twist.
