Ingredients
Scale
For the Dough
- 1 pound refrigerated pizza dough or homemade dough
Garlic Butter Mixture
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Cheeses
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat Oven and Prepare Pan: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a bundt pan or loaf pan thoroughly to ensure the bread does not stick.
- Mix Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, olive oil, minced garlic, fresh parsley, salt, and black pepper, stirring well to infuse the flavors.
- Prepare Dough Pieces: On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough and cut it into approximately 1.5-inch pieces for easy layering and bite-sized portions.
- Coat Dough in Garlic Butter: Toss the dough pieces in the garlic butter mixture until they are evenly coated, ensuring each piece will have maximum flavor.
- Layer in Pan: Place half of the coated dough pieces into the prepared pan, then evenly sprinkle half of the shredded mozzarella and parmesan cheeses over the top.
- Add Remaining Dough and Cheese: Layer the remaining dough pieces on top and finish by sprinkling with the rest of the mozzarella and parmesan cheeses.
- Bake: Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until the bread turns golden brown on top and is cooked through inside.
- Cool and Serve: Let the bread cool slightly in the pan before carefully inverting it onto a serving plate. Serve warm for the best texture and flavor.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add cooked crumbled bacon or chopped sun-dried tomatoes to the dough pieces before baking.
- Serve with marinara sauce or ranch dressing for a delicious dipping option that enhances the garlic bread experience.
