Prawn Tacos:

  • 1 pound raw prawns or shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 small corn or flour tortillas

For the lime crema:

  • 1/2 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt

Instructions

  1. Prepare the prawns: In a bowl, toss the prawns with olive oil, chili powder, paprika, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated. Cook in a skillet until opaque and lightly charred.
  2. Make the lime crema: Whisk together sour cream, lime zest and juice, mayonnaise, and salt to taste.
  3. Assemble the tacos: Warm tortillas, then layer cabbage, prawns, mango or pineapple, red onion, and cilantro. Drizzle with lime crema and serve with lime wedges.
