Description

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup basil pesto (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 balls burrata cheese (about 4 oz each)
  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
  • Lemon wedges, for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Brush flank steak with olive oil and season generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Grill steak for 4–6 minutes per side, or until it reaches desired doneness (130°F for medium-rare). Let rest for 5–10 minutes.
  3. Slice steak thinly against the grain.
  4. Arrange steak slices on a platter. Tear burrata and place on top of the steak.
