Description

This luscious Nutella Cheesecake is a decadent no-bake dessert that combines creamy cream cheese with the rich, hazelnut-chocolate flavor of Nutella. Perfect for chocolate lovers, the cheesecake features a buttery graham cracker crust, a smooth and fluffy Nutella-infused filling, and optional toppings of warm Nutella drizzle, whipped cream, and chopped hazelnuts or chocolate shavings. Easy to prepare and chill, this dessert is ideal for special occasions or any time you crave a creamy and indulgent treat.

Ingredients

Scale

For the crust:

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/3 cup melted butter

For the filling:

  • 16 oz (2 blocks) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup Nutella
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream

For the topping:

  • Additional Nutella, warmed
  • Whipped cream
  • Chopped hazelnuts or chocolate shavings (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the crust: In a bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Mix until the texture resembles wet sand. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form an even crust. Place the crust in the refrigerator to chill while you prepare the filling.
  2. Make the filling: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy using a hand mixer or stand mixer. Add the Nutella, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Continue to mix until all ingredients are fully combined and the mixture is smooth.
  3. Whip the cream: In a separate chilled bowl, whip the heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form. Be careful not to overwhip.
  4. Combine filling and whipped cream: Gently fold the whipped cream into the Nutella cream cheese mixture using a spatula. Do this slowly and carefully to maintain a light and fluffy texture in the filling.
  5. Assemble the cheesecake: Pour the filling over the chilled crust in the springform pan. Smooth the top with a spatula to create an even surface.
  6. Chill the cheesecake: Refrigerate the assembled cheesecake for at least 6 hours, preferably overnight, to allow it to set firmly.
  7. Add toppings and serve: Before serving, warm some extra Nutella and drizzle it over the cheesecake. Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with chopped hazelnuts or chocolate shavings if desired. Slice and serve chilled for the best experience.

Notes

  • You can substitute graham cracker crumbs with Oreo crumbs for a rich chocolate crust variation.
  • This cheesecake can be frozen for up to 1 month. To serve, thaw it overnight in the refrigerator.
  • When folding whipped cream into the filling, do so gently to keep the texture light and airy.
