- 2 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 (3 oz) package orange-flavored gelatin
- 1/4 cup boiling water
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 (8 oz) tub whipped topping, thawed
- Orange food coloring (optional)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until well combined. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form the crust. Chill in the refrigerator while preparing the filling.
- In a small bowl, dissolve the orange gelatin in boiling water and allow to cool slightly.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract, mixing until well blended.
- Stir in the dissolved gelatin. Add a few drops of orange food coloring if desired.
- Fold in the whipped topping until evenly incorporated.
- Pour the filling over the prepared crust and smooth the top.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set.
- Serve chilled and garnish with whipped cream or orange slices if desired.
Notes
- For a stronger orange flavor, add a teaspoon of orange extract.
- Ensure the gelatin is completely dissolved to avoid grainy texture.
- Use a springform pan for easy removal and clean presentation.
