Description

A flavorful and healthy marinated salmon dish infused with garlic, herbs, and citrus for a fresh and aromatic meal.


Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Lemon slices, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, parsley, dill, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  2. Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish or zip-top bag and pour the marinade over them. Ensure the salmon is well coated.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, up to 2 hours for more flavor.
  4. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) or heat a grill to medium-high heat.
  5. Remove the salmon from the marinade and place it on a baking sheet or grill.
  6. Bake or grill for 10-12 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Serve with lemon slices and garnish with additional fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

  • Do not marinate the salmon for more than 2 hours to avoid breaking down the texture.
  • This dish pairs well with roasted vegetables or a light salad.
  • Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 2 days.
