For the Mango Margarita:
- 1 1/2 cups frozen mango chunks
- 2 ounces silver tequila
- 1 ounce triple sec or orange liqueur
- 1 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice
- 1/2 ounce simple syrup (optional, to taste)
- 1 cup ice
- lime wedge and chili-lime seasoning or salt for rimming the glass (optional)
Instructions
- Rim the Glass: If desired, run a lime wedge around the rim of your glass and dip it into chili-lime seasoning or salt.
- Blend Ingredients: In a blender, combine the frozen mango, tequila, triple sec, lime juice, simple syrup, and ice. Blend until smooth and slushy.
- Adjust Sweetness: Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
- Serve: Pour into the prepared glass and serve immediately with a lime wedge garnish.
Notes
- You can substitute fresh mango and more ice if frozen mango isn’t available.
- For a spicy twist, add a slice of jalapeño to the blender.
