Description

Lightly battered shrimp baked to golden crisp perfection—easy, healthier snack or appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Cooking spray or olive oil spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 °F (220 °C). Line a baking sheet with parchment and lightly spray.
  2. In a bowl, mix panko, Parmesan, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dip each shrimp into beaten eggs, then coat thoroughly in breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Arrange shrimp on prepared sheet in a single layer. Lightly spray tops with oil.
  5. Bake 10 minutes, flip shrimp, spray again, and bake another 5–7 minutes until golden and crisp.
  6. Serve immediately with lemon wedges or dipping sauce.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add ¼ tsp cayenne or Italian seasoning.
  • Ensure shrimp aren’t overcrowded—crispiness improves with space.
  • Leftovers reheat nicely in an air fryer or oven for 3–4 minutes.
