A classic, flavorful meatloaf made easy with Lipton Onion Soup mix, breadcrumbs, eggs, and topped with a tangy ketchup glaze.

- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 lb ground pork
- 1 packet Lipton Onion Soup Mix
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/3 cup ketchup
- 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 cup chopped yellow onion
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
- For glaze: 3/4 cup ketchup, 1 1/2 tsp vinegar, 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce, 2 1/2 tsp brown sugar, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp onion powder, 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 °F and line a baking pan.
- Combine meatloaf ingredients in a bowl; mix gently until just combined.
- Shape into a loaf in pan.
- Bake 45 min.
- Meanwhile mix glaze ingredients.
- After 45 min, spread glaze over loaf.
- Bake an additional 15–20 min (internal temp 160 °F).
- Let rest 10 min before slicing.
Notes
- Don’t overmix—helps keep it tender.
- Resting before slicing retains juices.
- Store leftovers 3–4 days refrigerated or freeze.
- Great as leftovers in sandwiches.
- Can substitute ground turkey or lamb, or add chopped onions/herbs for variation.
