Description

This Juicy Oven Baked Tilapia is tender, flavorful, and ready in just 20 minutes. It’s the perfect quick weeknight dinner made with simple ingredients like garlic, lemon, and butter. Serve it with rice, veggies, or a light salad for a complete meal.


Ingredients

  • 4 tilapia fillets (about 6 oz each)

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 tbsp melted butter

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 lemon, sliced

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1 tsp dried parsley

  • Salt, to taste

  • Black pepper, to taste

 

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Pat the tilapia fillets dry and place them in a baking dish.

  3. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, melted butter, and minced garlic.

  4. Brush the mixture over the fillets.

  5. Sprinkle with paprika, dried parsley, salt, and black pepper.

  6. Top each fillet with a lemon slice.

  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.

  8. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.


Notes

  • You can swap tilapia with cod or haddock if needed.

  • Add a pinch of crushed red pepper for a little heat.

  • Serve with lemon wedges for extra brightness.
