Description

Tender chicken breasts cooked in a rich, sticky honey garlic sauce in just 25 minutes—perfect for a quick and flavorful dinner.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour (or cornstarch for gluten-free)
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce (or tamari)
  • 1/3 cup honey

Instructions

  1. Slice each chicken breast in half horizontally to make four thinner pieces. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Lightly coat each piece in flour, shaking off the excess.
  3. Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over high heat.
  4. Cook the chicken for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Lower the heat to medium-high.
  5. Add the minced garlic and remaining 1 tablespoon of butter. Cook for about 30 seconds.
  6. Add the vinegar, soy sauce, and honey. Stir to combine.
  7. Let the sauce simmer until slightly thickened, turning the chicken to coat evenly.
  8. Cook for another 5-7 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked. Serve with extra sauce on top.

Notes

  • Use cornstarch instead of flour for a gluten-free version.
  • Adjust garlic and honey to taste preference.
  • Serve with steamed vegetables, rice, or mashed potatoes.
