- 1 cup of milk (dairy or non-dairy, such as almond or oat milk)
- 2 tablespoons caramel sauce (plus extra for drizzling)
- 1 cup of ice cubes
- Whipped cream (optional, for topping)
Instructions
- Brew the espresso: Prepare 2 shots of espresso using an espresso machine, or brew 1/2 cup of strong coffee if you don’t have an espresso machine. Allow it to cool slightly.
- Mix the caramel and milk: In a glass, combine the caramel sauce and milk. Stir well until the caramel is fully dissolved.
- Add ice and espresso: Fill a large glass with ice cubes, then pour the cooled espresso over the ice.
- Combine: Slowly pour the caramel milk mixture over the espresso and ice. Stir gently to combine.
- Top and serve: Add whipped cream on top if desired and drizzle with extra caramel sauce. Serve immediately with a straw.
Notes
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less caramel sauce to suit your taste.
- For a richer flavor, use whole milk or half-and-half.
- A pinch of sea salt on top can enhance the caramel flavor for a salted caramel twist.
