This Honey Mustard Turkey Avocado Sandwich is the perfect combo of savory, creamy, and slightly sweet. It’s layered with sliced turkey, ripe avocado, crisp lettuce, juicy tomatoes, and a simple homemade honey mustard sauce—all stacked between your favorite sandwich bread. Ingredients

For the Sandwich:

  • 8 slices whole grain or sourdough bread

  • 8 oz sliced deli turkey (or leftover cooked turkey)

  • 1 avocado, sliced

  • 1 large tomato, sliced

  • 4 leaves romaine or butter lettuce

  • 4 slices Swiss or provolone cheese (optional)

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

For the Honey Mustard Sauce:

  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard

  • 2 tablespoons honey

  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise


Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together Dijon mustard, yellow mustard, honey, and mayo until smooth. Set aside.

  2. Toast the bread slices lightly if desired.

  3. Spread a layer of honey mustard sauce on each slice of bread.

  4. On four slices, layer lettuce, turkey, tomato, avocado slices, and cheese (if using).

  5. Season lightly with salt and pepper.

  6. Top each sandwich with the remaining slices of bread, sauce-side down.

  7. Slice in half and serve immediately, or wrap and refrigerate for later.


Notes
