Description

A quick and nutritious tuna salad made with creamy avocado instead of mayonnaise, perfect for a light and healthy meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 large ripe avocado
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup chopped red onion
  • 1/2 red apple, chopped

  • 1 tbsp pickle juice or water
  • 1 tsp dried dill
  • 1/2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 tsp ground cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Mash the avocado in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Add tuna, celery, red onion, apple, and walnuts to the bowl.
  3. Stir in pickle juice, dill, Dijon mustard, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  4. Mix until well combined and creamy.
