Description

Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta is a creamy, flavorful dish made with tender chicken, pasta, garlic, and rich Parmesan cheese—an easy and comforting weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz penne or rotini pasta
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet or saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chicken, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pan, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
  4. Add uncooked pasta and Italian seasoning. Stir, cover, and cook for 12–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender.
  5. Reduce heat and stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is creamy.
  6. Return the chicken to the pan and stir to combine. Cook for another 1–2 minutes until heated through.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve warm.

Notes

  • Add spinach or steamed broccoli for a veggie boost.
  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for the smoothest, richest sauce.
