- 1 pound pizza dough
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle about 1/2-inch thick.
- Cut the dough into strips about 1 inch wide and 5 inches long.
- Tie each strip into a knot and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Brush half of the garlic butter mixture over the knots.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the knots are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and immediately brush with the remaining garlic butter.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if using and serve warm.
Notes
- Use store-bought or homemade pizza dough for convenience.
- You can add red pepper flakes to the butter for a spicy kick.
- Best served fresh but can be reheated in the oven.
