Description

This Garlic Butter Steak Bites & Cheesy Alfredo Twists recipe combines tender, flavorful steak bites with creamy Alfredo sauce over perfectly cooked pasta twists. Ready in just 25 minutes, it’s a delicious and comforting meal that’s perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Scale

Steak Bites

  • 1 lb steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • Salt, to taste
  • ½ tsp black pepper

Pasta & Sauce

  • 12 oz pasta twists (rotini or cavatappi)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Cook the pasta twists according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain well and set aside.
  2. Cook the Steak: Heat the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the bite-sized steak pieces with salt and black pepper. Add the steak to the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the steak is nicely browned. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Make the Alfredo Sauce: In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and add the grated Parmesan cheese along with the Italian seasoning. Stir continuously until the sauce is smooth, creamy, and heated through.
  4. Combine Pasta and Steak: Return the cooked pasta and steak bites to the skillet with the Alfredo sauce. Toss everything together thoroughly so the pasta and steak are evenly coated in the creamy sauce.
  5. Add Cheese: Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the top of the mixture in the skillet. Allow the cheese to melt slightly before serving for a delicious cheesy finish.

Notes

  • You can use ribeye, sirloin, or flank steak as preferred for tender steak bites.
  • For a lighter version, substitute half and half for heavy cream.
  • Add fresh parsley or basil on top for an herbaceous garnish.
  • If the sauce thickens too much, add a splash of pasta water to loosen it.
  • Serve immediately for best texture and flavor.
