- 1 French baguette (or Italian bread)
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) salted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup fresh garlic, minced (about 4-5 cloves)
- 1 teaspoon fresh parsley, finely chopped (or dried)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 350 °F (180 °C).
- Slice the baguette into ½–2‑inch thick pieces, depending on preference and basket size.
- In a bowl, mix softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, and Parmesan (if using).
- Generously spread garlic‑butter mixture on each bread slice.
- Arrange slices in a single layer in air fryer basket—cook in batches if needed.
- Air fry for 4–7 minutes until golden and crisp. If adding cheese, sprinkle during last 1–2 minutes.
- Remove and serve immediately while warm.
Notes
- Cook in a single layer—don’t overcrowd, or bread may get soggy.
- To reheat, air fry leftovers at 300 °F for 2–3 minutes.
- Freeze garlic bread slices on a baking sheet, then store in freezer bag for up to 2 months; air-fry frozen slices at 350 °F for 5–7 minutes.
- Use fresh garlic for best flavor; garlic powder works in a pinch.
