Scale
- 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup rainbow sprinkles
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and pinch the seams together to form a solid sheet.
- Spread the softened butter evenly over the dough.
- In a small bowl, mix the sugar and cinnamon together, then sprinkle this mixture over the buttered dough.
- Sprinkle rainbow sprinkles generously over the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- Starting from one edge, carefully roll the dough into a tight log, then slice it into 8 equal rolls.
- Place the rolls into the prepared baking dish and bake for 18-22 minutes, or until golden brown and fully cooked through.
- While the rolls bake, prepare the glaze. In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Once the cinnamon rolls are done baking, remove them from the oven and allow them to cool for a few minutes before drizzling the glaze over the top.
- Serve warm and enjoy the festive, sweet flavors!
Notes
- You can add extra sprinkles to the glaze for more color or use themed sprinkles for special occasions.
- For a softer texture, make sure not to overbake the rolls.
- If you don’t have crescent roll dough, you can substitute with biscuit dough for a different texture.
