Scale
Primary Ingredients
- 5 ounces Hot Apple Cider
- 2 ounces Fireball Whiskey
Optional Garnishes
- 1 ounce Cool Apple Cider (for rimming)
- Cinnamon Sugar (for rimming)
- Red Apple Slices (3 thin slices, stacked and fanned on a cocktail pick)
- Cinnamon Sticks (1 stick)
- Whole Star Anise (2 pieces)
Instructions
- Prepare the glass rim: Pour about 1 ounce of cool apple cider onto a small plate. Dip the rim of your glass into the cider to moisten it for the cinnamon sugar to stick.
- Coat the rim with cinnamon sugar: Place cinnamon sugar on a clean plate and carefully coat the wet rim of the glass by dipping it into the sugar, ensuring even coverage without washing the rim.
- Add Fireball whiskey: Pour 2 ounces of Fireball whiskey gently into the glass, taking care not to disturb the cinnamon sugar rim.
- Pour hot apple cider: Slowly pour 5 ounces of hot apple cider into the glass. The ingredients will blend naturally as they mix.
- Prepare apple garnish: Stack three thin red apple slices on a cocktail pick and fan them out. Position the top of the pick resting near the front side of the glass for decoration.
- Add additional garnishes: Place a cinnamon stick into the glass on the opposite side of where the apple fan sits. Add a couple of whole star anise pieces into the drink for extra aroma and visual appeal.
- Serve: Present your Fireball Apple Cider warm and enjoy the spicy, sweet flavors.
Notes
- Use fresh hot apple cider for best flavor; gently warm it without boiling.
- The cinnamon sugar rim adds a sweet and spicy touch but can be omitted if preferred.
- Adjust the amount of Fireball whiskey to taste for a stronger or milder drink.
- Garnishes like star anise and cinnamon sticks can enhance aroma but are optional.
- This drink is best enjoyed warm, so serve immediately after preparation.
