A simple and delicious homemade strawberry lemonade that’s perfect for cooling down on hot days.

- 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4-6 lemons)
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 5 cups cold water
- Ice cubes
- Strawberry slices and lemon slices, for garnish
Instructions
- In a blender, puree the strawberries until smooth.
- In a large pitcher, combine the lemon juice and sugar, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
- Strain the strawberry puree through a fine mesh sieve into the pitcher, pressing to extract as much juice as possible.
- Add the cold water and stir well to combine.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
- Serve over ice and garnish with additional strawberry and lemon slices.
Notes
- Adjust the sugar depending on your desired sweetness.
- For a sparkling version, replace some of the water with sparkling water.
- Use ripe, sweet strawberries for the best flavor.
