Description

These Easy Roasted Crispy Chickpeas are a crunchy, savory snack that’s high in protein and fiber. Perfect on their own or as a topping for salads, bowls, or soups.


Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat the chickpeas very dry using a kitchen towel or paper towels. Remove any loose skins for extra crispiness.
  3. In a bowl, toss the chickpeas with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  4. Spread the chickpeas in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  5. Roast for 25–35 minutes, shaking the pan halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  6. Let cool slightly before serving. They will continue to crisp up as they cool.
