Description
Mini Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches made with tender steak, sautéed peppers and onions, melted provolone, served on soft slider buns with a buttery topping.

- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced
- 1 large green bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1/2 lb shaved steak or thinly sliced ribeye
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 12 slider buns or Hawaiian rolls
- 6 slices provolone cheese
- 1 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tsp dried thyme or Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C).
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onion and bell pepper, and sauté until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add shaved steak to the skillet. Season with garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Cook until steak is browned and cooked through.
- Slice slider buns in half horizontally without separating them. Place the bottom half on a baking sheet.
- Evenly spread the steak and pepper mixture over the bottom buns. Top with provolone cheese slices.
- Place the top buns over the cheese layer.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter, thyme, and 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce. Brush over the tops of the buns.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until the tops are golden and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from oven, slice into individual sliders, and serve warm.
Notes
- Use shaved ribeye or sirloin for authentic flavor.
- Add mushrooms for extra umami.
- Prepare filling ahead for quicker assembly before baking.
- Can be served as a party appetizer or main dish.
