- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon dried Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Fresh basil, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
- Place the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish. Drizzle olive oil over the chicken and rub it evenly on both sides.
- In a small bowl, combine garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Sprinkle this seasoning mixture evenly over the chicken breasts.
- Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F or 75°C) and no longer pink in the center.
- Remove the chicken from the oven and spoon marinara sauce over each breast. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese and shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce.
