Description

Juicy turkey meatballs glazed in a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce—quick, healthy, and family-friendly.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbsp parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce (or tamari for gluten‑free)
  • 1 clove garlic, minced (for sauce)
  • 1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp cornstarch mixed with 1 Tbsp water (optional, for thicker sauce)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 °F (200 °C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper; mix gently until just combined.
  3. Form into 16 evenly‑sized meatballs and place on the baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 15–18 minutes, until cooked through and slightly golden.
  5. While meatballs bake, whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, vinegar, and cornstarch slurry in a small bowl.
  6. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat; add sauce and cook until it starts to thicken, about 2–3 minutes.
  7. Add baked meatballs to skillet and toss to coat in the sauce, cooking 1–2 minutes until glazed.
  8. Serve warm over rice, noodles, or zucchini noodles, garnished with extra parsley or sesame seeds.

Notes

  • For gluten‑free, use gluten‑free breadcrumbs and tamari.
  • You can make these ahead and freeze before glazing for a quick meal later.
  • Adjust honey‑soy ratio to your sweetness/salt preference.
  • For a spicy kick, add ½ tsp chili flakes to sauce.
