- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 12 Oreo cookies, coarsely chopped (plus extra for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper or grease it lightly.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together melted butter and sugar until combined.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract, and mix until smooth.
- Stir in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder until just combined—do not overmix.
- Fold in chopped Oreos, reserving a few for the top.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Top with remaining Oreo pieces.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Cool completely in the pan before slicing into squares.
