Scale
- 1 package (14 oz) Oreo cookies, crushed
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 packages (3.4 oz each) instant vanilla pudding mix
- 3 1/2 cups cold milk
- 12 oz whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed
- Gummy worms for decoration (optional)
Instructions
- Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a zip-top bag and smashing with a rolling pin. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese, butter, and powdered sugar together until smooth and creamy.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the pudding mixes and cold milk together for 2 minutes until thickened.
- Fold the pudding mixture into the cream cheese mixture until well combined.
- Fold in the whipped topping gently until smooth.
- In a 9×13-inch dish or a large trifle bowl, layer half of the crushed Oreos, followed by the pudding mixture, then the remaining Oreos on top.
- Decorate with gummy worms if desired.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
- For a chocolate version, use chocolate pudding instead of vanilla.
- Mini flower decorations or small plastic flowers can be added on top for a garden-themed dirt cake.
- Leftovers can be stored covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
