Description

A fun and easy no-bake dessert made with layers of crushed Oreo cookies and creamy pudding mixture, topped to resemble ‘dirt’ — perfect for kids’ parties and family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 package (14 oz) Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 packages (3.4 oz each) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 3 1/2 cups cold milk
  • 12 oz whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed
  • Gummy worms for decoration (optional)

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a zip-top bag and smashing with a rolling pin. Set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese, butter, and powdered sugar together until smooth and creamy.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk the pudding mixes and cold milk together for 2 minutes until thickened.
  4. Fold the pudding mixture into the cream cheese mixture until well combined.
  5. Fold in the whipped topping gently until smooth.
  6. In a 9×13-inch dish or a large trifle bowl, layer half of the crushed Oreos, followed by the pudding mixture, then the remaining Oreos on top.
  7. Decorate with gummy worms if desired.
  8. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

  • For a chocolate version, use chocolate pudding instead of vanilla.
  • Mini flower decorations or small plastic flowers can be added on top for a garden-themed dirt cake.
  • Leftovers can be stored covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
