- 8 oz bacon, chopped
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 onion, diced
- 5 garlic cloves, minced
- 1.5 cups light or heavy cream
- 1.5 tsp cornstarch mixed with 1 tbsp water
- 1 lb broccoli florets
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 0.5 cup shredded mozzarella
- 0.33 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your broiler to medium heat.
- In a large oven-safe skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside on paper towels.
- Drain excess fat, leaving about 1-2 tbsp in the pan. Add butter and onion, sauté for 2 minutes.
- Add broccoli, season with salt and pepper, cook for 3 minutes.
- Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in cream and simmer for 3-4 minutes. Add cornstarch slurry if needed to thicken.
- Return bacon to the skillet and mix well.
- Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Broil for 2-3 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Serve immediately, optionally garnished with parsley.

- Use heavy cream for a richer dish, or light cream for fewer calories.
- Customize with other cheeses like cheddar or Gruyère.
