Description

Creamy Broccoli Slaw is a crunchy, refreshing side dish made with shredded broccoli, carrots, and a tangy-sweet creamy dressing. It’s quick to make and perfect for barbecues, picnics, or as a crisp topping for sandwiches.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 (12 oz) bag broccoli slaw mix
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey or sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds or sliced almonds (optional)
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, honey, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add the broccoli slaw mix to the bowl and toss until well coated with the dressing.
  3. Stir in sunflower seeds and dried cranberries if using.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to let the flavors meld.
  5. Serve chilled as a side dish or sandwich topping.

Notes

  • Use Greek yogurt in place of mayo for a lighter version.
  • Customize with shredded apples or chopped green onions for added flavor.
  • Great made ahead and keeps well in the fridge for 2–3 days.
