Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream cheese, ranch seasoning, cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, and green onions. Mix until everything is well incorporated.
- If desired, season with garlic powder and black pepper for extra flavor.
- Lay the flour tortillas flat on a clean surface. Evenly spread the chicken mixture over each tortilla, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Roll the tortillas tightly, ensuring the filling is evenly distributed throughout the roll.
- Using a sharp knife, slice the rolled tortillas into 1-inch pinwheels. You should get about 8-10 pinwheels per tortilla.
- Serve immediately, or refrigerate for 30 minutes to allow the pinwheels to firm up before serving. These pinwheels can also be made ahead and stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
Notes
- If you prefer a spicier version, add diced jalapeños or a pinch of cayenne pepper to the filling mixture.
- For a healthier version, you can use low-fat cream cheese and omit the bacon or substitute with turkey bacon.
