Description

This Cinnamon Sugar Pizza is a delicious dessert twist on your favorite savory pie! A soft, golden pizza crust is topped with a buttery cinnamon-sugar blend and drizzled with sweet icing. It’s quick to make and perfect for parties, family nights, or whenever you’re craving something warm and sweet.

Ingredients

For the Dough:

  • 1 store-bought pizza dough (or homemade)

  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for brushing)

For the Topping:

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon

For the Icing:

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

  • 1-2 tbsp milk

  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet or pizza pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

  • Roll out the dough into a 10–12 inch circle or oval, depending on your preference. Transfer to the prepared pan.

  • Brush the dough with olive oil to help it crisp up and brown nicely.

  • Mix the topping: In a small bowl, stir together the melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and cinnamon.

  • Spread the cinnamon mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.

  • Bake for 10–12 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the topping is bubbly.

  • Make the icing: While the pizza bakes, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.

  • Drizzle icing over the warm pizza. Slice and serve!

Notes

  • You can use crescent dough or flatbread for a shortcut.

  • Add chopped pecans or drizzle with caramel for extra flavor.

  • Best served warm, but leftovers are great reheated!
