Ingredients
For the Dough:
-
1 store-bought pizza dough (or homemade)
-
1 tbsp olive oil (for brushing)
For the Topping:
-
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
-
1/4 cup granulated sugar
-
2 tbsp brown sugar
-
1 tbsp ground cinnamon
For the Icing:
-
1/2 cup powdered sugar
-
1-2 tbsp milk
-
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet or pizza pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
-
Roll out the dough into a 10–12 inch circle or oval, depending on your preference. Transfer to the prepared pan.
-
Brush the dough with olive oil to help it crisp up and brown nicely.
-
Mix the topping: In a small bowl, stir together the melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
-
Spread the cinnamon mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
-
Bake for 10–12 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the topping is bubbly.
-
Make the icing: While the pizza bakes, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
-
Drizzle icing over the warm pizza. Slice and serve!
Notes
-
You can use crescent dough or flatbread for a shortcut.
-
Add chopped pecans or drizzle with caramel for extra flavor.
-
Best served warm, but leftovers are great reheated!
