Description

These Cinnamon Roll French Toast Bites are soft, gooey, and full of warm cinnamon flavor! Made from store-bought cinnamon rolls, they’re cut into bite-sized pieces, dipped in a sweet egg mixture, and pan-fried to golden perfection. Perfect for a weekend brunch, holiday breakfast, or anytime you’re craving something sweet and cozy.

Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated cinnamon rolls (8-count), icing reserved

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1/4 cup milk

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1 tbsp butter (for cooking)

  • Optional toppings: maple syrup, powdered sugar, fresh berries

Instructions

  1. Cut the cinnamon rolls: Separate the rolls and cut each one into 6–8 bite-sized pieces.

  2. Make the custard: In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon.

  3. Dip the bites: Toss the cinnamon roll pieces in the egg mixture until well coated.

  4. Cook: Heat butter in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add the bites in a single layer and cook for 2–3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.

  5. Serve: Warm the reserved icing slightly (10–15 seconds in the microwave) and drizzle it over the bites. Top with maple syrup, powdered sugar, or berries if you like. Serve warm!

Notes

  • These are best served fresh, but leftovers can be reheated in the air fryer or oven.

  • Add chopped pecans or a cream cheese drizzle for an extra treat.

  • Great for dipping into icing, syrup, or a cinnamon glaze!
