Ingredients
Scale
Rollups
- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (or your favorite melty cheese)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Garlic Butter Mixture
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Toppings
- Chopped fresh parsley
- Extra Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Prepare Oven and Dough: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat to prevent sticking.
- Mix Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and salt. Set aside to allow garlic flavors to infuse.
- Assemble the Rollups: Unroll the crescent dough and separate into 8 triangles. Lightly brush each triangle with the garlic butter mixture. Sprinkle 1–2 tablespoons of shredded mozzarella and a light sprinkle of Parmesan cheese onto each triangle.
- Roll and Arrange: Roll each triangle from the wide end to the tip tightly, enclosing the cheese inside. Place the rollups on the prepared baking sheet with the seam side down to prevent unrolling.
- Brush with Remaining Butter: Brush the tops of the rollups generously with any remaining garlic butter mixture to enhance flavor and browning.
- Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes or until the rollups are golden brown and cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle extra Parmesan cheese and chopped fresh parsley over the rollups for a fresh, savory finish. Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
- Use your favorite melty cheese if you prefer a different flavor.
- For extra garlic flavor, sauté the minced garlic lightly before mixing with butter.
- To make it spicier, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the garlic butter mixture.
- These rollups are best served warm but can be reheated in the oven for a few minutes for crispiness.
- You may substitute fresh herbs for dried Italian seasoning if preferred.
