Ingredients
Scale
Beverage
- 1 ½ cups (360 ml) apple juice
- 2 tablespoons cinnamon dolce syrup (adjust to 1 tablespoon for less sweetness)
- 1-2 tablespoons caramel sauce (for drizzle)
Whipped Cream Topping
- ½ cup (120 ml) heavy cream
- 1 ½ tablespoons (12 g) confectioners’ sugar
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Heat Apple Juice: Pour the apple juice into a large heavy-bottomed saucepan and warm it over low heat. Stir occasionally to ensure even heating and avoid boiling. Continue heating for about 10 minutes or until the temperature reaches between 130°F-160°F (54°C-71°C), measured with a thermometer.
- Pour into Mug: Carefully ladle the hot apple juice into a heat-proof mug to prepare for flavoring.
- Add Cinnamon Dolce Syrup: Stir in cinnamon dolce syrup, starting with 1 tablespoon for a less sweet taste or 2 tablespoons for the standard sweetness. Mix thoroughly to combine the flavors.
- Whip Cream: Using a mixer or a whisk, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. While whipping, add confectioners’ sugar and vanilla extract to sweeten and flavor the cream.
- Assemble and Serve: Spoon the prepared whipped cream over the hot apple mixture in the mug. Drizzle 1 to 2 tablespoons of caramel sauce over the whipped cream to add richness and an attractive finish. Serve immediately.
Notes
- Adjust cinnamon dolce syrup amount according to your preferred sweetness level.
- Use a thermometer to heat apple juice to the perfect temperature without boiling.
- For a dairy-free version, substitute whipped cream with coconut cream and use non-dairy caramel sauce.
- Serve immediately after topping to enjoy the cream at its best texture.
