Description

This warm and cheesy Caprese Dip is everything you love about the classic salad—melted mozzarella, juicy tomatoes, and fresh basil—baked into a creamy, bubbly dip! Perfect for parties, holidays, or a casual night in with some crusty bread or crackers.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

  • Fresh basil leaves, chopped or torn

  • Balsamic glaze, for drizzling (optional)

  • Toasted baguette slices or crackers, for serving

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a medium bowl, mix together the cream cheese, shredded mozzarella, Parmesan, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.

Spread the cheese mixture evenly into a small baking dish or oven-safe skillet.

Top with the halved cherry tomatoes.

Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until bubbly and lightly golden on top.

Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes.

Sprinkle with fresh basil and drizzle with balsamic glaze, if using.

Serve warm with toasted baguette slices or crackers.

Notes

  • Want extra flavor? Add a layer of pesto under the cheese mix before baking.

  • You can substitute ricotta or goat cheese for some of the cream cheese if desired.

  • For a cold version, use fresh mozzarella and tomatoes layered over whipped cream cheese and chill before serving.
