- 8 oz egg noodles or pasta of choice
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- Salt to taste

- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain well.
- Return noodles to the pot or a large bowl and immediately add butter.
- Toss until the butter is fully melted and coats the noodles evenly.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Top with Parmesan cheese and parsley if desired. Serve warm.
Notes
- Use more or less butter based on your preference.
- For extra richness, stir in a splash of pasta water or cream.
