Description

Buttered Noodles are a simple, comforting dish made with pasta tossed in melted butter and a touch of seasoning. Perfect as a quick side dish or easy main meal for picky eaters and busy nights.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz egg noodles or pasta of choice
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain well.
  2. Return noodles to the pot or a large bowl and immediately add butter.
  3. Toss until the butter is fully melted and coats the noodles evenly.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Top with Parmesan cheese and parsley if desired. Serve warm.
