Description

This Beef and Broccoli Ramen Stir Fry is a fast and flavorful dish made with tender slices of beef, crisp broccoli, and ramen noodles tossed in a savory stir fry sauce. It’s better than takeout and ready in under 30 minutes!

Ingredients

For the Stir Fry:

  • 2 packs ramen noodles (discard seasoning)

  • 1 lb flank steak or sirloin, thinly sliced against the grain

  • 2 cups broccoli florets

  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

  • 2 green onions, sliced (optional)

  • Sesame seeds, for garnish (optional)

For the Sauce:

  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce

  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce

  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional but recommended)

  • 1 tbsp brown sugar

  • 2 tsp sesame oil

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated (or 1/2 tsp ground ginger)

  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  • Cook ramen noodles according to package instructions (without the seasoning packet). Drain and set aside.

  • In a small bowl, whisk together all sauce ingredients.

  • Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the sliced beef and cook until browned, 3–4 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.

  • Add the remaining oil to the skillet, then add the broccoli. Stir-fry for 2–3 minutes until bright green and just tender.

  • Return the beef to the skillet. Pour in the sauce and stir everything together.

  • Add the cooked ramen noodles and toss to coat evenly in the sauce.

  • Cook for 1–2 more minutes, just until everything is heated through.

  • Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds if desired, then serve hot.

Notes

  • Swap beef for chicken or tofu if preferred.

  • Add in other veggies like bell peppers, snap peas, or carrots.

  • For extra sauce, double the sauce ingredients.
