Description

These Baked Pork Chops are juicy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned with a blend of garlic, herbs, and spices. Baked to golden perfection in under 30 minutes, this easy recipe is perfect for a weeknight meal and pairs well with just about any side!

Ingredients

Scale

4 boneless or bone-in pork chops (about 1-inch thick)

2 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp paprika

1/2 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp dried thyme or Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper, to taste

Optional garnish: fresh parsley or lemon wedges

Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line a baking sheet with foil.

Season the pork chops:

Pat chops dry with paper towels. Brush both sides with olive oil, then season evenly with garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper.

Bake:

Place pork chops in the prepared baking dish. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C) for medium doneness.

Optional broil:

For a golden top, broil for the last 2–3 minutes of cooking time.

Rest and serve:

Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh herbs or a squeeze of lemon if desired.

Notes

  • Cooking time may vary depending on thickness. Use a meat thermometer for best results.

  • Add sliced onions or apples to the pan for extra flavor.

  • For extra juicy chops, brine them for 30 minutes in salted water before seasoning.
