- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
- Salt and pepper to taste
For the Taquitos:
- 10–12 small flour tortillas
- Cooking spray
- Salt, for sprinkling
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Make the filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream cheese, salsa, cheddar cheese, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, cilantro, salt, and pepper.
- Assemble the taquitos: Place a heaping spoonful of the filling onto each tortilla and roll it up tightly. Place the taquitos seam side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake: Lightly spray the taquitos with cooking spray and sprinkle with salt. Bake for about 15-20 minutes until crisp and golden.
