Description

Delicious and flavorful Awesome Sauce Burgers made with seasoned ground beef mixed with a tangy honey mustard, teriyaki, and hot sauce blend, perfect for grilling or stovetop cooking in just 15 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale

Meat and Seasoning

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 Tbsp McCormick’s hamburger seasoning

Sauce

  • 2 Tbsp honey mustard dressing
  • 2 Tbsp thick teriyaki sauce
  • 2 Tbsp hot sauce

Instructions

  1. Prepare Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together honey mustard dressing, teriyaki sauce, and hot sauce until fully combined. Set aside for later use.
  2. Mix Meat and Seasoning: In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with the hamburger seasoning and half of the prepared sauce. Use your hands or a wooden spoon to mix everything thoroughly, ensuring the flavors are evenly distributed.
  3. Form Patties: Divide the meat mixture into three equal portions and gently shape each portion into a burger patty, taking care not to overwork the meat for tender burgers.
  4. Cook Burgers: Grill the patties, cook them on the stovetop in a skillet, or broil in the oven according to your preference, until they reach your desired level of doneness (approximately 4-5 minutes per side for medium).
  5. Brush with Sauce: Just before removing the burgers from heat, brush the remaining half of the sauce mixture onto the patties to add extra flavor and a glossy finish.

Notes

  • You can use any grilling method: outdoor grill, stovetop grill pan, or broiler depending on your equipment.
  • Adjust the hot sauce quantity based on your preferred spice level.
  • Let the burgers rest for a few minutes after cooking to retain juices.
  • Serve on toasted buns with your favorite toppings for a complete meal.
  • Ensure ground beef is cooked to at least 160°F (71°C) for food safety.
